The University of Papua New Guinea's School of Medicine and Health Sciences has achieved a landmark milestone with the receipt of international accreditation from the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).
The accreditation recognises that the School's MBBS program meets international standards for medical education, a significant achievement for Papua New Guinea's only medical school.
Dean Professor Nakapi Tefuarani said the accreditation was the result of years of work to improve curriculum, clinical training, and research output.
