Human Resources Management

The Human Resources Management (HRM) division supports the University's most important asset — its people. HRM is responsible for staff recruitment, employment conditions, payroll, professional development, and staff welfare.

The Human Resources Management division is responsible for managing the employment lifecycle of all University staff — from recruitment and induction through to performance management, professional development, and separation. HRM ensures that UPNG remains an employer of choice in Papua New Guinea's higher education sector.

The division also administers staff housing, leave entitlements, employment contracts, and works in partnership with the Bursary on payroll processing.
