Staff Housing

UPNG maintains a limited stock of staff housing at the Waigani and Taurama campuses, allocated to eligible academic and professional staff — typically those recruited from outside Port Moresby, including international appointees — as part of their conditions of appointment.

Demand exceeds supply, so allocation is managed by Human Resources Management in coordination with Physical Facilities Management, which maintains the housing stock. Ask about staff housing as part of your appointment discussion — it is far easier to arrange before you arrive than after.
