Leave Types
Annual Leave
Accrues according to staff category and contract terms.
Sick Leave
Available on production of a medical certificate for absences beyond the notified threshold.
Maternity & Paternity Leave
Provided under UPNG's conditions of service — check with Human Resources for current entitlements.
Study & Long Service Leave
Available to eligible staff after a qualifying period of service, subject to approval.
Leave is applied for through your supervisor and processed by Human Resources Management. Current forms and the full conditions of service are available from the HR office.
