Entry Requirements
What UPNG looks for in an application, before you get into the detail for your particular pathway.
Entry requirements differ by programme and by pathway — school leaver, non-school leaver, or international — but every application is assessed against the same three things: academic record, any prerequisite subjects the programme names, and, for English-medium study, evidence of English proficiency.
What Every Application Needs
- Certified copies of academic transcripts and certificates
- Proof of identity (birth certificate or passport)
- Completed application form and the application fee
- Programme-specific prerequisite subjects, where the programme requires them
- For international applicants, evidence of English proficiency and a valid visa pathway
School leavers, non-school leavers and professionals, and international students each have their own detailed requirements and a different assessment path — see the relevant admissions pathway for the specifics that apply to you, or the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Admissions pages for programme-level prerequisites.
