Uniforce Security Services
The University of Papua New Guinea's campus and facilities are protected by Uniforce Security Services around the clock. Uniforce provides comprehensive security coverage across the Waigani and Taurama campuses, including patrol services, access control, and emergency response.
The organisation includes personnel with backgrounds in law enforcement and military service. Uniforce also operates a commercial division — Uniforce Commercial Security Services (UCSS) — which provides security services to external organisations including the PNG National Research Institute. Both the main security force and its commercial division maintain official registration with the Security Industry Association.
Students and staff are encouraged to report any safety concerns or suspicious activities to the nearest security post. Emergency assistance is available at any time.
