Student Services
The Student Services Department is administratively based at the Waigani campus with a satellite office at Taurama Campus. Leadership consists of a Director supported by two Deputy Directors overseeing Residence & Catering and Student Welfare and Development sections.
The department delivers essential support across multiple areas to enhance the student experience and provide comprehensive support throughout their university tenure at UPNG.

Food and dining services at campus cafeterias and dining halls for resident and day students.
Counselling
Professional counselling and mental health support services for students experiencing personal, academic, or emotional difficulties.
Chaplaincy
Spiritual guidance and pastoral care services for students of all faiths.
Halls of Residence
On-campus accommodation for undergraduate and postgraduate students at Waigani and Taurama campuses.
International Student Support
Dedicated services for overseas students, including orientation, visa assistance, and cultural adjustment support.
Sports & Recreation
Athletic facilities, inter-university sports competitions, and recreational programmes for the campus community.
