Science Foundation (External)

Science Foundation (External) is the external-mode version of the Science Foundation Year: the same preparatory year of study in mathematics, the sciences and academic skills, delivered to students who are not studying on the Waigani campus full-time.

Like the on-campus foundation year, it is a preparatory programme rather than a qualification in its own right — students who pass it stream into first-year degree study in the science-based programmes.
