Bachelor of Economics with Honours

Program Overview

The Bachelor of Economics with Honours is a one-year research-intensive program for graduates of the Bachelor of Economics who have demonstrated high academic achievement. It deepens analytical and research skills through advanced coursework in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and quantitative methods, culminating in an independent research paper.

Students undertake 21 credit points including advanced theory courses in both semesters and a year-long research paper (6 credits) that makes an original contribution to economic knowledge relevant to Papua New Guinea or the Pacific region.
